We start with eight boxes, multiply by one box, and now still have eight boxes.

Here's another example:

We start with eight boxes, multiply by two boxes, and now have sixteen boxes. We take our eight boxes two times to get sixteen boxes:

Tan Box   Pink Box   Chartreuse Box   LimeGreen Box   RoyalBlue Box   Gold Box   BlueViolet Box   Navy Box    Tan Box   Pink Box   Chartreuse Box   LimeGreen Box   RoyalBlue Box   Gold Box   BlueViolet Box   Navy Box

We start with eight boxes, multiply by three boxes, and now have twenty-four boxes. We take our eight boxes three times to get twenty-four boxes:

Chocolate Box   MediumSpringGreen Box   DarkViolet Box   PowderBlue Box   Empty Box   MediumAquamarine Box   DeepPink Box   SteelBlue Box    Chocolate Box   MediumSpringGreen Box   DarkViolet Box   PowderBlue Box   Empty Box   MediumAquamarine Box   DeepPink Box   SteelBlue Box    Chocolate Box   MediumSpringGreen Box   DarkViolet Box   PowderBlue Box   Empty Box   MediumAquamarine Box   DeepPink Box   SteelBlue Box

In order to do basic multiplication, you must memorize some equations but fear not: FoxyMath will help you! When you are finished with this lesson, you will know the following equations:
