Olive Box   MediumAquamarine Box   DarkGreen Box   DarkKhaki Box   Indigo Box   Plum Box   Turquoise Box   DeepSkyBlue Box  times     Black Box Box  equals     OliveDrab Box   Olive Box   MediumAquamarine Box   DarkGreen Box   DarkKhaki Box   Indigo Box   Plum Box   Turquoise Box

We start with eight boxes, multiply by one box, and now still have eight boxes.

Here's another example:

We start with eight boxes, multiply by two boxes, and now have sixteen boxes. We take our eight boxes two times to get sixteen boxes:

DarkBlue Box   DarkViolet Box   DarkOrchid Box   Tan Box   DarkCyan Box   Blue Box   PowderBlue Box   Violet Box    DarkBlue Box   DarkViolet Box   DarkOrchid Box   Tan Box   DarkCyan Box   Blue Box   PowderBlue Box   Violet Box

We start with eight boxes, multiply by three boxes, and now have twenty-four boxes. We take our eight boxes three times to get twenty-four boxes:

Yellow Box   DarkSeaGreen Box   MediumSpringGreen Box   Purple Box   MediumOrchid Box   DarkOliveGreen Box   GreenYellow Box   LimeGreen Box    Yellow Box   DarkSeaGreen Box   MediumSpringGreen Box   Purple Box   MediumOrchid Box   DarkOliveGreen Box   GreenYellow Box   LimeGreen Box    Yellow Box   DarkSeaGreen Box   MediumSpringGreen Box   Purple Box   MediumOrchid Box   DarkOliveGreen Box   GreenYellow Box   LimeGreen Box

In order to do basic multiplication, you must memorize some equations but fear not: FoxyMath will help you! When you are finished with this lesson, you will know the following equations:
