Lesson 13: Zero; Terms; Review

Zero

Zero is very easy to understand. Zero divided by any number, except zero, is zero.

We start with zero, which is nothing. Zero divided by any number, except zero, is zero because no matter how you divide nothing, we still have nothing: zero. (Any number divided by zero is infinity because we can have nothing an infinite amount of times. However, infinity is beyond the scope of Basic Division).

Here is the division chart for zero:

0 ÷ 1 = 0

0 ÷ 2 = 0

0 ÷ 3 = 0

0 ÷ 4 = 0

0 ÷ 5 = 0

0 ÷ 6 = 0

0 ÷ 7 = 0

0 ÷ 8 = 0

0 ÷ 9 = 0

0 ÷ 10 = 0
